Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is the host of SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to communicate in two languages allowed her to get a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS as well as the World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. Apart from that, she also hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. The show was commissioned as a sports anchor for Despierta America Deportes for their morning program. She also served as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1985. There is a sister. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was a naval engineer who died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The couple stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer in which she was provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school and had a very clear vision of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. The campus was a dream for her. The university also provided her with the major that she desired. After completing the requirements for high school, she enrolled in the university to study media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a part of her class, formed an ongoing friendship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in herself encouraged her. In turn, she attempted to live up to his standards and not fail him.
